  • Rincon's ARF arfofrincon@yahoo.com, 787-823-7167 offering limited animal rescue services.  Office hours M, W, F 9am-1pm. No facility to take in animals - Rely soly on volunteers to foster.  Do offer funds if you can foster (North West PR)
  • Aguada's Aguadenos en Defensa de los Animales, 787-643-5787 (City between Rincon & Aguadilla / West PR)
  • The Dead Dog Beach Project aims to end the daily abuse and dumping of dogs on this beach. I know this group and they are actively and continuously rescuing! Dead Dog Beach lies on the south east coast of Puerto Rico. Dogs will be fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered and will be given regular flea, tick and heartworm medication.
  • El Faro de los Animales in Punta Santiago is possibly a no-kill shelter, but their automated response to my inquiry was ... "they are full, not taking any more animals"
  • Canita in Bo. Corazón, Guayama is possibly a no-kill shelter on our island - I am still researching to see if they are able to take in new animals.  
  • Santuario de Animales San Francisco de Asis near Cabo Rojo - also possibly a no-kill shelter on our island - I am still researching to see if they are able to take in new animals.
  • Puerto Rico Alliance for Animal Companions is an all volunteer based organization dedicated to teaching humane education on the island of Puerto Rico
  • Save A Sato located in San Juan can use your person to be an escort and/or your American Airlines frequent flyer miles to rescue a saved animal from Puerto Rico (North East PR)
