Amorcita, the sweetest smartest "little lover" y Dulce Diablo's BBF

We had Amorcita from Aug 2011 to Sept 2011 - Thru ARF and Leo she flew to Angles for Animals Network in NJ on 9/29/11.  Amorcita was found on 8/20/11 at 3months old.  She is a female pit-bull lab mixed sato that was born in the woods behind Calypso.  Amorcita (little lover) spent her first 3 months alone but you would never know it.   From the videos on youtube you will see she gets along great with our cat, dogs and with humans.   More pictures can be found here. 

The Adorable Puppy Chula

6/27/11 Mama pit or bull dog mix gave birth to 5 adorable black and white puppies in the woods behind Calypso Cafe.   On June 29th, as a community, we have found homes for all the puppies but one, Puppy Chula - on 7/20/11 after a lot of confusion ... we found Chula a home around the corner in Puntas. Mama still needs a forever home but thanks to Amanda Mama has been spayed and lives between Calypso and Amanada's house.   More videos of her and her puppies here

Rincon Plaza Kitty Spayed

July 2011 - this adorable street kitty, from the Rincon Plaza, was captured by us and taken to the Vet (to be spayed and pregnancy aborted) by Lisa.  The Vet bill was paid by Ana and Lisa also volunteered to keep kitty while she recovered from the surgery!  This was a great save as although we don't want to kill little kitties, there are far too many homeless and sick kitties already in and behind the Rincon Plaza.   Plaza Kitty will be taken back to the Plaza towards the end of July where she can continue to live happily .. although maybe less approachable.

One of the 5 Adorables

June 2011 - there were 5 puppies born to a Mama that someone dumped in the woods behind Calypso Cafe.  Working as a community we found homes for 4 of the puppies.  Mama will be fixed in July and we are looking for a home for her.  But she is better off today than she was when we first spotted her roaming the 413 in May of 2011.  Thanks EVERYONE and especially Calypso Cafe's Sonya!   Videos of puppies and Mama here on our 413geek Rincon Animal Rescue page

May 2011 Rosa, Rojo & Verde

These three Shepherd mixed puppies were found (having been dumped illegally) on the road from Maria's to Domes April 26th 2011.  They were spayed and vaccinated.  Forever loving homes were found for all 3 by June 6th 2011.  Rosa to Mayaquez, Verde to Rincon and Roja to Hollis, New Hampshire. Gato found a home 1/30/11

Gato, here-forth "Monkey", 30mo & 2lbs, was rescued in the middle of Jan 2011 and we found a permanent home in the same month.  He just wanted to be loved with his broken leg and funny face ... and he has been and will continue to be.  Thanks everyone!

2 sweet sweet kitties

On Oct 8th 2010 my dogs found these 2 kitties at Sandy Beach.  They can't be over a couple months.  They were fostered by Justin and Angela and won't be going elsewhere .... these two cuties found a wonderful loving home!

2 month old female

On Dec 20th 2010 we saw a car pulled over on the 115 and we saw this puppy in the bushes.  Thanks to ARF and our community of supporters, "Camina" was rescued and fostered by us - she was vaccinated and spayed thanks to ARF.  She was officially adopted and has a home in Rincon!

The one and only Uno

2010 - Uno seems to have been an abandoned street dog who found Cora who found us!  As hard as we tried to (and did) find Uno another home ... it seems his destiny (and ours) was to have each other.  And we wouldn't have it any other way!  Thanks Cora!!!

JR - Sonny

2010 - James rescued (JR) from our backyard.   He was adopted by Mary Ann and Chuck who changed his name to Sonny. 

Our Dulce Diablo

2010 our friend's dogs found these three little newborn kitties.  We were able to adopt two of them and unfortuatnely lost one of the two .. but we still have Dulce Diablo and she has become a doggie-kitty
